The therapy
What hyperbaric oxygen therapy is
During a session you breathe highly concentrated oxygen inside a chamber with increased pressure. In these conditions oxygen travels more easily with the blood throughout the body and supports its natural regenerative processes.
The visit itself feels like calm rest. You lie down comfortably, breathe, and have 70 minutes entirely to yourself.
- 70 minutes per session
- 1,5 ATA working pressure
- 1 person in the chamber
The chamber
Omnioxy Steel: comfort and full privacy
A single-person chamber means the whole session belongs to you: your own pace, quiet, and the individual attention of our team. Inside you lie down comfortably and decide how to spend the 70 minutes. Listen to music, watch a film, get some work done, or simply escape the noise and rest.

Safety
When we will not run a session
Hyperbaric oxygen therapy is well tolerated, but it is not for everyone. Below are the situations in which we will not run a session, or will ask you to speak to a doctor first.
Absolute contraindication
- Untreated pneumothorax
This is the one absolute contraindication named in the literature: changing the pressure in the chamber can turn it into a tension pneumothorax, which is life-threatening.
Talk to a doctor first if any of these apply
- Upper respiratory or sinus infection
- Trouble equalising pressure in the ears, or previous ear surgery
- COPD, asthma, pulmonary blebs, previous pneumothorax
- Epilepsy or recent neurosurgery
- Fever above 39°C
- An implanted pacemaker, defibrillator or medication pump
- Chemotherapy (including doxorubicin, bleomycin, cisplatin) and disulfiram
- Pregnancy
We run a short interview before your first visit: tell us about chronic conditions, medications and procedures, including the ones that seem unrelated to oxygen therapy. We also teach you how to equalise the pressure in your ears, and during the session we stay nearby and in constant contact with you. If anything feels uncomfortable, just say so and we will stop the session straight away.
Straight about the method
How 1.5 ATA differs from hospital protocols
The Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society (UHMS), which sets the standards in hyperbaric medicine, defines hyperbaric oxygen therapy as breathing near-100% oxygen in a chamber pressurised to at least 1.4 ATA. Our 1.5 ATA falls within that definition.
At the same time, approved medical indications such as decompression sickness, carbon monoxide poisoning or non-healing wounds are treated in hospital: at higher pressures, under their own protocols and under a doctor’s care. Our session is gentler than that and does not replace such treatment.
We say this plainly because this industry makes promises easily. A session in our chamber supports regeneration and rest, not treatment for a disease, and it is never a reason to put off seeing a doctor.

Yes. You lie comfortably in a single-person chamber, and our qualified experts stay nearby and in contact with you throughout.
Comfortable cotton clothing and arriving a few minutes early is enough. Before the first session we hold a short interview and explain how the visit proceeds.
Two ways: online through Booksy, where you can see the free slots and book at any hour, or by phone on 690 337 800 if you would rather settle the details in conversation.
Most people choose a package of 5 or 10 sessions, because regularity supports regeneration. You pick the option when booking online, and if you would like advice we will help you choose over the phone.
Yes. The absolute contraindication is an untreated pneumothorax. We also ask you to speak to a doctor first if you have a respiratory or sinus infection, ear problems, COPD or asthma, epilepsy, a fever above 39°C, an implanted device, if you are undergoing chemotherapy, or if you are pregnant. The full list with sources is in the safety section.
UHMS defines hyperbaric oxygen therapy as breathing near-100% oxygen at a pressure of at least 1.4 ATA, so 1.5 ATA falls within that definition. Approved medical indications, however, are treated in hospital, at higher pressures and under a doctor’s care. Our session is gentler than that protocol and does not replace it.
